Recovery Technician Job Description

Wellspring Women's House is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Technician to join our team. As a key member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in supporting adults recovering from addiction and substance use disorder.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the safety and security of clients and the facility during assigned shifts.
  • Implement agency safety policies in case of emergencies and contact the on-call supervisor as needed.
  • Provide positive role modeling and guidance to clients during non-treatment hours.
  • Assist with medication distribution and record-keeping in accordance with agency and Maine state regulations.
  • Participate in supervision sessions and actively engage in professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience working in a residential setting preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Recovery Coach, Behavioral Health Professional (BHP), or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) is desirable.
  • A genuine desire to work in a service capacity to support individuals receiving residential treatment for Substance Use Disorder.
