Rehabilitation Specialist

Sutter Health is in search of a Rehabilitation Specialist to join our dedicated team.

The Rehabilitation Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering patient care while adhering to regulatory standards. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Ensuring a clean and organized treatment environment.
• Assisting patients with mobility and other therapeutic needs.
• Performing essential administrative tasks such as patient scheduling and check-in/out.

This role requires building trust and rapport with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals through effective communication and thorough patient assessments.

Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.

Certification & Licensure:
Must possess BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.

Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in necessary technology and computer systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to independently complete tasks and teach others.
- Effective problem-solving skills, utilizing data from various sources to develop solutions.

Schedule: Full Time
Shift Hours: 8 hours
Days of the Week: Monday to Friday
Weekend Requirements: None
