Phlebotomy Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Phlebotomy Instructor to join our team at Savannah Technical College. As an adjunct faculty member, you will provide instruction and supervision to students in the Phlebotomy program, ensuring they develop the skills necessary to succeed in the healthcare profession.

• Develop and deliver curriculum and syllabus for Phlebotomy coursework
• Evaluate student progress and administer exams
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades
• Participate in in-service training and workshops to stay current with industry developments
• Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols in the training areas
• Assist with recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and supervisors

• 1-year relevant work experience
• Associate's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution
• Registered nurse or LPN in good standing in the state of Georgia, or certification in a related Laboratory Science
• Basic Life Support/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
• Ability to travel to locations throughout the assigned service area

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field
• Administrative and teaching experience
• Prior experience with Phlebotomy certification procedures

This position is contingent upon funding and allocation of position.
