Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse RN Neuro Stepdown to join our team at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and coordinating all functions in the unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
  • Assist with staff scheduling.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • A minimum of one year acute care Medical/Surgical/Neuro RN experience.
  • Leadership experience.
