Key Responsibilities:

Our cloud strategists specifically focus on developing and implementing cloud strategies that align with organizational objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and facilitate digital transformation.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud strategy, cloud architecture, cloud management, or cloud financial optimization (FinOps) projects
  • Background in a leading commercial or public sector consulting firm
  • Proven ability to apply critical thinking and structured methodologies to help clients navigate challenges and resolve complex issues
  • A blend of strategic, technical, and interpersonal skills to effectively guide clients in the planning, adoption, and management of cloud services
  • A demonstrated history of success in professional services or large enterprises supporting client cloud services, including:
  • An understanding of cloud services and the client's industry, market, and business objectives to formulate cloud strategies that align with broader business goals. Ability to identify and address complex technical and business challenges associated with cloud adoption and management.
  • Skills in documenting existing business processes, systems, and technologies.
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing, and articulating high-level business capabilities and requirements. Engaging with business leaders to define, understand, and document cloud strategy and desired cloud capabilities, iterating new business and technology capabilities, and creating and implementing future-state capabilities.
  • Collaborating with clients to develop strategic plans, tactical initiatives, key performance indicators, and reporting dashboards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree
  • Proven abilities and a successful track record in directing and executing the following areas:
  • Capability to identify and develop solutions that meet client needs
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to clients
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
  • An active or prior DoD Secret clearance or equivalent
The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,000. Compensation decisions are influenced by various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
