Cable Assembly Specialist

About This Role
">This Cable Assembly Specialist position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and organizational abilities. You will work closely with the team to prepare work, set up equipment, and operate tools to assemble connectors, labels, and associated parts.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with QA and Process Engineering, maintaining a safe working environment, and recording inspection results accurately.
The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of drawings, computer data entry, and process documentation. A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
">Key responsibilities for this Cable Assembly Specialist position include:
- Preparation and setup: Prepare work by studying product and process documentation, parts list, tools, and fixtures.
- Equipment operation: Set up and operate appropriate equipment, tools, and fixtures to assemble connectors, labels, and associated parts.
- Quality control: Work with QA and Process Engineering to ensure product quality, identifying and resolving assembly issues, and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
- Safety and maintenance: Maintain a safe working environment, comply with company policies and procedures, and perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Record-keeping: Record and document all assembly-related inspection and test results, materials, parts, tools, and fixtures.
