Pax Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our hotel operations. Our Maintenance Technicians play a crucial role in maintaining the comfort and satisfaction of our guests and staff by ensuring all facilities are in optimal condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Chief Engineer with various maintenance and preventive maintenance duties.
  • Track daily consumption of electricity, water, and gas.
  • Complete tasks within budgetary guidelines set by the Chief Engineer.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas, storage spaces, and grounds in accordance with company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of interior and exterior lighting, fixtures, and furnishings.
  • Maintain communication with front desk personnel to address and resolve maintenance requests.
  • Report and recover lost items to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to guest and staff inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Participate actively in weekly team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in hotel or building maintenance.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including potential off-hours and weekends based on operational needs.

Additional Information:

  • Compensation: $16 - $17 per hour.
  • Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance available for full-time employees.
