Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team at Labcorp, a leading healthcare company.

As a key member of our clinical laboratory team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and representing the company in a positive manner.

• Collect blood samples by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information into the system accurately and on time.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prioritize and prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain accurate records of patient and specimen information.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Able to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist is preferred.

• Estimated salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year.
