Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule on-farm trips and trips to other URUS Group day centers, maintaining strong relationships with clients and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Assist veterinarians and flush technicians, setting up equipment and supplies for embryo collection and processing.
  • Prepare and organize work areas, ensuring a safe and efficient laboratory environment.
  • Monitor and record temperatures, lot numbers, and other relevant information, maintaining accurate inventory and reordering supplies as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with sales, marketing, veterinarians, recipient herdsman, and team leaders, ensuring seamless collaboration and open communication.
  • Input data from flushes and transfers, recording incoming and outgoing embryos, and maintaining accurate embryo inventories.
  • Search for IVF oocytes and assist with freezing of IVF embryos, following URUS Group's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or Biology.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
  • Good communication and client service skills.
  • Ability to travel during seasonal spikes and work long hours during peak periods.
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds, sit for long periods, and work in a fast-paced laboratory environment. URUS Group offers a competitive salary and benefits package to the successful candidate.
