A leading healthcare facility in the southeastern United States is seeking a highly qualified Medical Physicist to join its Radiation Oncology team. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's or PhD in Medical Physics and be board-certified in therapeutic radiological physics or have completed ABR part 2. The successful candidate will work with cutting-edge equipment, including Varian iX linac and Varian Gammamed HDR afterloader, and utilize Aria and Eclipse AAA across practice sites. Key responsibilities will include QA with IBA Blue Phantom II, Mapchecks, Daily QA3s, IC Profilers, Mobius 3D, Clearcheck, and Mobius FX for IMRT/VMAT QA. The successful candidate will specialize in HDR, SBRT, SRS, and large prostate seed implant programs.

Requirements

Master's or PhD in Medical Physics

ABR or Eligable

1+ years of experience

Strong presentation skills, ability to communicate effectively to a group via phone/face to face

Strong technical aptitude

Strong analytical, math, physics skills, including data collection, problem-solving

The ability to resolve complex technical issues independently

Self-motivated, organized

Detail-oriented

Possess strong time management skills

Estimated Pay

The facility provides a competitive range of compensation for this position. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience and specific office location. It is possible that this position can be hired outside of this salary range based on experience.
