Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper to join our team at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas
- Sweep and/or vacuum floors
- Dust furniture and equipment
- Polish metalwork
- Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area
- Replenish bathroom supplies
- Transport small equipment or tools between departments
Requirements
- Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
- Medical cleaning a plus
- Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening, and Drug Test required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required
