We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent's. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Prepare the surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
- Hand required and requested instruments and supplies to the surgeon during surgery.
- Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
- Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor and track instrument counts throughout procedures.
- Assist surgeons in providing hemostasis during surgery.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
