We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at The George Washington University Hospital. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary care teams to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services to patients in accordance with their individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy, incorporating evidence-based techniques into patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding of treatment plans and progress.
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or related field.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the District of Columbia.
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a rehabilitation or acute care environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
