Position Overview:

As an Embedded Systems Firmware Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting firmware for portable and wearable imaging devices, laser systems, and sensor technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate seamlessly with a diverse engineering team
  • Engage with imaging, laser, and sensor technologies to develop firmware for control systems, image acquisition, analysis, and processing
  • Operate within a Linux environment across various System on Module (SOM) platforms integrated with sensor hardware and user interfaces
  • Create firmware and image processing workflows for state-of-the-art infrared sensors and laser systems
  • Develop drivers and graphical user interfaces for OLED and other microdisplay technologies
  • Conduct programming for system characterization and validation

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Experience:
  • 5+ years of practical experience in embedded software development and validation
  • Proficiency in Linux or similar environments with multiple programming languages including C, C#, and Python
  • Experience interfacing with visible, low-light, and infrared imaging systems as well as microdisplay technologies
