Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the functionality of all plant machinery to promote safe and efficient operations.
- Execute scheduled and preventive maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and manufacturing best practices.
- Diagnose and rectify faulty components.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a two-year college program or degree in a relevant engineering field (mechanical, electrical, chemical, or food processing), Industrial Management, or equivalent technical certification preferred, or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a mechanical role within a manufacturing setting focused on process enhancement.
- Welding skills are essential; certification is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in computer applications within a networked environment.
- Ability to interpret blueprints.
- Experience with screw conveyor systems, gearboxes, motor operations, and general industrial troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated mechanical and electrical proficiency.
