Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the functionality of all plant machinery to promote safe and efficient operations.
  • Execute scheduled and preventive maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and manufacturing best practices.
  • Diagnose and rectify faulty components.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a two-year college program or degree in a relevant engineering field (mechanical, electrical, chemical, or food processing), Industrial Management, or equivalent technical certification preferred, or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a mechanical role within a manufacturing setting focused on process enhancement.
  • Welding skills are essential; certification is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications within a networked environment.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
  • Experience with screw conveyor systems, gearboxes, motor operations, and general industrial troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical proficiency.
