Job Description: The City of Stuart, FL is seeking a skilled Firefighter/EMT to join our team. As a Firefighter/EMT, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing medical care, and fighting fires.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Emergency Response: Respond to fire and medical emergencies, using specialized equipment and vehicles.
  • Medical Care: Administer basic life support care to patients, including CPR and first aid.
  • Fire Suppression: Use fire extinguishers and other equipment to suppress fires.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain firefighting equipment and vehicles.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other firefighters and emergency responders to ensure effective response to emergencies.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications:
  • Licenses: Valid State of Florida Class E Driver's License required.
  • Skills: Ability to work in high-pressure situations, physical stamina, and ability to lift heavy equipment.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $58,780.80 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
