Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient and high-quality service to patients, including registration, scheduling, and billing.
  • Coordinate patient appointments and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Manage patient records, including demographic and billing information, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) a plus.
