We are seeking a skilled Make-Ready Technician to join our team at Apartment Management Professionals, LTD. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for preparing and turning over apartment units for residents, ensuring they are in good working order.
Key Responsibilities- Complete all maintenance service requests as assigned, prioritizing timely and efficient unit turnover.
- Monitor and ensure apartment units are prepared in accordance with our make-ready and punch checklist.
- Identify and address any problems or repairs related to basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and other essential systems.
- Install and remove appliances, ceiling fans, light fixtures, and blinds, as needed.
- Perform touch-up paint duties, both interior and exterior, as required.
- Respond to tenant requests in a timely manner, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws, including Fair Housing regulations.
- Knowledge of basic electric, plumbing, drywall/paint, carpentry, ceramic/tile, and appliance installation/removal and repairs.
- Experience in turnovers/make-readies of vacant units in multifamily industry is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
- Able to work on-call and for extended hours, including after-hours and weekends, if necessary.
