Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Generate and scrutinize financial statements, including balance sheets and cash flow reports, ensuring they meet regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the general ledger and perform account reconciliations to uphold the accuracy of financial records.

Audit and Compliance

  • Support annual audit processes by supplying required documentation and addressing any audit observations.
  • Assist in formulating and enforcing financial policies to ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulations.

Process Optimization

  • Discover avenues for improving efficiency and precision in financial operations.
  • Implement enhancements and guide accounting personnel to adopt best practices.

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Aid in the formulation of annual budgets and regular forecasts to facilitate financial planning.

Billing and Accounts Payable

  • Oversee general billing operations to ensure effective processing.
  • Manage vendor invoices, including disbursements and invoice reconciliation.

Bank Reconciliations and Transaction Management

  • Monitor and reconcile all banking transactions, addressing discrepancies as they occur.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Mentor fellow accounting staff and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Duties

  • Participate in various accounting and administrative projects as needed.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Experience

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in accounting, showcasing a progressive career.

Technical Proficiency

  • Expertise in accounting software, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and identify trends.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with the capability to manage multiple priorities.
