**Job Summary**

BNSF Railway is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Conductor Trainee. As a Conductor Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting experienced conductors in the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Assist conductors in the operation of trains, including coupling and uncoupling cars, and monitoring train movements.
• Learn and apply safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Develop skills in train handling, including braking, acceleration, and deceleration.
• Participate in training programs to develop knowledge of rail operations, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Work effectively in a team environment to achieve safe and efficient train operations.

**Requirements:**

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to work safely in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
