Position Summary
The role involves traveling to various locations to provide pharmaceutical care. The pharmacist will serve patients by preparing medications, offering pharmacological insights to a multidisciplinary healthcare team, and overseeing patient medication therapies. The position encompasses all facets of Pharmacy Operations, including inventory management, personnel oversight, and security, with a strong focus on customer service.

Qualifications for Pharmacist Role
Minimum Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Proficiency in reading and comprehending the English language. Must maintain confidentiality of records and communicate effectively with all personnel levels. Capability to work independently with minimal oversight and manage multiple changing priorities. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are essential. Must interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and maintain confidentiality.
Experience: A minimum of three years in retail pharmacy.
Additional Skills Required: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet applications. Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with pharmacy software necessary for daily operations. Previous experience in FQHC or public health settings is advantageous.
Educational Background: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
Licensure: Unrestricted Pharmacy license in the state of North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist
- Dispense prescriptions accurately, including product selection, measuring, and labeling.
- Organize and maintain prescription files appropriately.
- Identify and manage outdated or recalled products.
- Follow established procedures for dispensing incidents.
- Engage with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Utilize PMG System for patient financial records.
- Access EMR System for patient information and communication.
- Perform accurate cash management and transaction processes.
- Facilitate the training and development of Pharmacy Technicians.
