We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to provide high-quality patient care in our Wahpeton, North Dakota facility. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver personalized rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluation and Treatment Planning:
- Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities, range of motion, strength, coordination, and overall mobility.
- Develop tailored treatment plans based on patients' conditions, goals, and progress.
- Therapeutic Interventions:
- Implement various physiotherapy techniques, including strengthening exercises, range of motion exercises, balance training, manual therapy, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation).
- Educate patients on proper posture, movement techniques, and body mechanics to prevent future injury.
- Patient Education and Support:
- Educate patients on the importance of following their prescribed physiotherapy regimen and explain how therapy will aid in recovery.
- Teach patients strategies to manage pain and promote physical wellness through techniques like stretching, strengthening exercises, and ergonomic modifications.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to coordinate care for patients.
- Provide regular updates to the interdisciplinary team on patient progress and changes in treatment plans.
- Monitoring and Reassessing Progress:
- Regularly assess patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
- Document the effectiveness of therapies and make recommendations for changes based on patient feedback and observed improvements or setbacks.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting evaluations, treatments, progress, and changes in the patient's condition.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and insurance requirements.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
