  • Program Development:
    • Design and adjust CNC programs for 5-axis machining centers employing CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, CATIA).
    • Generate comprehensive setup instructions and tooling specifications for machining tasks.
    • Enhance existing programs to boost productivity, minimize cycle times, and improve part quality.
  • Machine Setup and Operation:
    • Configure and prepare 5-axis CNC machines, including the loading and alignment of workpieces and tools.
    • Conduct preliminary runs and implement necessary modifications to ensure precise and efficient machining.
    • Diagnose and resolve challenges related to machining operations, tooling, or programming errors.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Analyze blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ascertain machining requirements.
    • Leverage knowledge of materials, cutting tools, and machine capabilities to determine suitable machining parameters.
    • Oversee and evaluate finished components for compliance with specifications, making adjustments as required.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Offer technical guidance and training to operators and other team members as necessary.
    • Document and relay program modifications, setup protocols, and any deviations from standard practices.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and tooling to sustain optimal functionality.
    • Review and interpret measurement reports to confirm parts meet tolerance and quality standards.

Qualifications:
