About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Bell Partners. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, providing a safe and attractive environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise maintenance staff, providing regular performance appraisals and feedback.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties and grounds to identify areas in need of repair and maintenance.
  • Maintain grounds, coordinate lawn service, and other outdoor grounds services as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for staff and residents.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and concerns from residents and staff in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare apartments for new residents, ensuring they are clean and ready for occupancy.
  • Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash, maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
  • Attend required meetings and training programs, staying up-to-date on industry best practices and company policies.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent required; 2-5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a multi-family housing environment.
  • Personnel supervisory experience preferred; HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications may be required in some communities.
  • Understanding and ability to repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Ops Technology.
  • Ability to work days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends, as needed.
