Visual Merchandising Specialist for Luxury Fragrance Retail

We are seeking a highly organized and flexible Visual Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Parfums de Marly, based in Miami, USA. As a key member of our retail animation team, you will be responsible for driving our Visual Merchandising strategies and Retail Animation initiatives across different points of sale.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Visual Merchandising within the perfume and beauty industry, with experience in project management for temporary/trade animations. They should also have excellent time management skills, fluency in English and Spanish, and the ability to read and understand technical plans and knowledge of materials.

About the Role

This role is essential in implementing Visual Merchandising strategies for various types of POS (e.g., counters, boutiques, pop-ups) and creating and executing Visual Merchandising plans for retail animations (e.g., outposts, gondolas, tables, XL windows, pop-ups). The successful candidate will also distribute VM guidelines to markets, ensuring effective implementation, and support markets in adapting VM guidelines to local needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Visual Merchandising strategies for various types of POS (e.g., counters, boutiques, pop-ups).
  • Create and execute Visual Merchandising plans for retail animations (e.g., outposts, gondolas, tables, XL windows, pop-ups).
  • Distribute VM guidelines to markets, ensuring effective implementation.
  • Support markets in adapting VM guidelines to local needs.
  • Develop in collaboration with the Design team, generic POSM adapted to Markets needs and brand requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Global Animation & Merchandising Design Manager and the Designer on animation project management.
  • Manage agency briefs and oversee the deployment of animation guidelines.
  • Follow up production, ensure the quality is as per the brand DNA and approved materials & Samples.
  • Make sure the POSM is available in the warehouse in time for the markets to order.
Requirements
  • A strong background in Visual Merchandising within the perfume and beauty industry is essential.
  • Experience in project management for temporary/trade animations, with a portfolio to demonstrate this.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising and Animation project management within a brand's central or regional office.
  • Experience in managing planograms, VM recommendations, and trade/animation projects, ideally within the fragrance or beauty sector.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

The salary range for this position is approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, and includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
