Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our company, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with our patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Verify patient information and medication orders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and medication
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred
  • PTCB certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
