Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterology Physician with expertise in advanced endoscopic techniques, specifically ERCP (mandatory) and EUS (preferred). This role involves working within a community teaching hospital environment, collaborating with GI fellows to address the diverse medical needs of our patient population.

Facility Highlights:

  • The GI outpatient center is newly established, featuring three modern endoscopy suites and a welcoming waiting area.
  • Located on the first floor of our 3700 building, which is directly connected to the hospital.

Team Structure:

  • Be part of a multispecialty group comprising 60 physicians and 20 advanced practice providers.
  • Engage in comprehensive services with proficient gastroenterologists who manage complex GI cases and perform a wide array of procedures.
  • Conduct all ERCPs and endoscopic ultrasound examinations.
  • Benefit from a substantial volume of EGDs and colonoscopies.
  • Enjoy dedicated GI lab time to enhance procedural efficiency.
  • Participate in a call rotation of one in four, with GI fellows taking first call.
  • Receive collaborative support from hospitalists and general surgery teams.
  • Work exclusively on one campus, eliminating travel requirements.
  • Hospital consultations are conducted alongside GI fellows.

Compensation Package:

  • Attractive salary with a two-year guarantee, including a $25,000 sign-on bonus and a $25,000 retention bonus at the conclusion of the second year.
  • Generous time off policy, offering 27 days of Allowed Time Off plus an additional 5 days for Continuing Medical Education, along with an annual stipend.
