Electroencephalography (EEG) Technician

At UKHS St. Francis Campus, we're committed to delivering exceptional patient care and fostering a collaborative work environment. As an EEG Technician, you'll play a vital role in our neurodiagnostics lab, working closely with our team to provide accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electroencephalographic examinations and electromyographic examinations for adult and pediatric patients.
  • Assist with sleep studies and nerve conduction studies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to ensure timely and reliable results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to provide reassurance and obtain necessary information.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered electroencephalographic technologist (R.EEG.T) certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One year of full-time experience in a neurodiagnostics lab.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Associate degree in a related field.
