Mainframe Storage Administration Role

The ideal candidate for this position will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in mainframe storage administration, with a strong background in HSM migration and backup, Vantage Storage software, Hitachi disk replication, virtual tape, and RMM (Removable Media Manager).

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimization of mainframe storage systems, providing expert-level support for storage infrastructure, and driving key storage initiatives.

Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in mainframe storage administration, with extensive experience in HSM migration and backup, SMS Managed Disk and Tape, Vantage Storage software, Hitachi disk replication, virtual tape systems, and RMM (Removable Media Manager).

Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Relevant certifications in mainframe storage administration and related technologies are a plus.
