As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for the overall quality and efficiency of our psychiatric services, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols and policies to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Provide direct patient care and supervise other clinical staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Monitor and supervise staff to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures
  • Provide backup call coverage and serve as a liaison between medical staff and other departments
  • Participate in the training and development of other personnel
  • Manage the finances and revenue of the facility, including budgets, billing, and spending
  • Develop organizational goals and objectives and devise strategies to meet those goals
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required
  • Board certification in Psychiatry required
  • Previous experience as a Medical Director preferred
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine by the state in which the facility operates
  • Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working
