About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a mobile radiologic technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in their homes or at facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and EKGs, in a variety of settings and locations.
  • Collect and verify patient information and order documentation prior to procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment and determine exposure factors based on patient needs.
  • Process and transmit images in a timely manner, adhering to company protocols.
  • Complete records and reports, and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  • Travel to patient locations, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and correctional institutions.
Requirements
  • Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or state x-ray license.
  • Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds and walk up and down stairs easily.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
