Cardiology Opportunity at The MetroHealth System

The MetroHealth System is seeking a board-certified/board eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a growing team of providers in the Division of Cardiology at The MetroHealth Medical Center.

About the Role

This is an academic position with an academic faculty appointment at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine. In addition to clinical efforts, candidates will have protected time for teaching and research.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and interpret echocardiography, TEE, ECG, and echocardiographic stress tests
  • Analyze and interpret strain imaging and 3D echocardiography
  • Teach fellows and residents
  • Contribute to clinical research and academic activities
Requirements
  • ACC/ASE Level II competency in echocardiography
  • Competency in independently performing and interpreting TEE
  • Board Certification in Cardiovascular Diseases (or board eligible with plans to take the exam with continuation contingent on passage)
  • Interest in and skill in teaching fellows/residents
Preferred Qualifications
  • Imaging fellowship with CT/MR training
  • Clinical interest in Cardio-obstetrics
  • Clinical interest in Cardio-preventative program
