Job Details:
- On-site position
- Full-time or part-time
- As soon as possible to the end of the school year
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in the state of Massachusetts
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to patients
- Assist with the implementation of individualized treatment plans to address patients' occupational therapy needs
- Conduct therapeutic activities and exercises with patients to improve motor skills, coordination, and independence
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
