About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Trident Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate diagnostic equipment, process images, and prepare rooms with necessary equipment and supplies for procedures.
  • Responsible for selecting proper technical factors, producing diagnostic-quality images, and competent in the operation of equipment.
  • Maintain credentials and obtain required CEUs for certification.
  • Assistance is also needed by physicians during invasive procedures.
  • Other duties include, but are not limited to, clerical, scheduling, transportation, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning, and anything deemed necessary by the medical imaging management team.

Requirements

  • RDMS, RVT, or RVS certified preferred; BLS on hire (American Heart Association)
  • RVT or RVS certification must be obtained within 18 months of employment for sonographers with 1 year or less experience.
  • RVT or RVS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment for sonographers with greater than 1 year experience.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Ultrasound school.
