Overview

Catholic Health Initiatives, a prominent nonprofit healthcare organization, is dedicated to providing comprehensive medical services across multiple states. This role involves delivering specialized expertise in Mammography procedures, aligning with the core values and mission of Catholic Health Initiatives. The position also emphasizes adherence to Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) regulations.

Additionally, the role includes providing technical proficiency in Bone Densitometry radiographic procedures, ensuring quality control of equipment and conducting precision testing.

Incentive: This position is eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately performs screening and diagnostic procedures with a focus on precision.
  • Adheres to established radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
  • Manages routine equipment use and quality control requirements.

  • Exhibits professional practice standards consistently.
  • Leads efforts to maintain MQSA compliance.
  • Participates in on-call duties as required.
  • Provides X-Ray coverage as needed.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. A Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred. Candidates must actively pursue registry and licensure in Mammography and Bone Densitometry as mandated by MQSA.

Experience: Clinical experience and radiography skills acquired during training in Radiologic Technology.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficient in data entry and analysis, with strong computer skills. Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with staff, patients, physicians, and visitors while maintaining confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications: Basic Life Support Certification (CPR-Healthcare Provider) within 480 hours of employment, with ongoing re-certification as required. Preference for candidates with one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist and experience in Bone Densitometry.

Licensure: Registered Radiologic/Mammography/ND state NDMIRT.

Compensation: $44.40 per hour.
