MDS Coordinator/RN

We are seeking a highly skilled MDS Coordinator/RN to join our team at Abbotts Creek Center in Lexington, NC. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of the MDS treatment assessment tool and reviewing care plans to ensure compliance with our high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the overall process and tracking of all Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents to ensure appropriate reimbursement for services provided.
- Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to ensure achievement of maximum allowable RUG categories.
- Integrate information from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services to ensure accurate reimbursement.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- At least one year of long-term care nursing experience required.
- Competitive salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 per year.
