Job Opportunity:
Seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist to join our team at a reputable hospital in McAllen, Texas. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases using advanced imaging techniques.

About the Role:
This is a 13-week assignment with a competitive pay rate and comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in special procedures IR and possess current BCLS certification. A thorough understanding of neurovascular procedures, including thrombectomies, cerebral angiograms, and carotid stenting/angiography, is also required. Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases using advanced imaging techniques
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
• Perform a variety of neurovascular procedures, including thrombectomies, cerebral angiograms, and carotid stenting/angiography
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in cardiovascular imaging

Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience in special procedures IR
• Current BCLS certification
• Thorough understanding of neurovascular procedures, including thrombectomies, cerebral angiograms, and carotid stenting/angiography
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

About the Facility:
This hospital has been serving patients in the Rio Grande Valley since 1982 and boasts 320 beds and a physician staff of over 500 in 35 specialties. The facility offers 24 ER care, comprehensive cardiovascular services, a 30-bed NICU, Level III trauma care, and maintains the only pediatric heart program in the area. The hospital also provides the community with its only Accredited Diabetes Management Center in the region, as designated by the American Diabetes Association.
