Responsibilities:

As a Clinical Research Nurse II, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

1. Coordinating and facilitating the conduct of clinical research protocols
2. Ensuring research participant recruitment and accrual, protocol compliance, research participant safety, and data quality
3. Working closely with institutional investigators, other healthcare team members, service line staff, and research participants/families to ensure the successful conduct of clinical trials
4. Developing effective tools for monitoring and reporting trial accrual, coordinating study activation, and submitting protocol amendments

Education and Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree is required, and a Master's Degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess a strong background in nursing, preferably with experience in oncology or a comparable clinical environment. Additionally, they should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Nurse and 2 years of experience in nursing with a focus on oncology or a comparable clinical environment. Preferred qualifications include a PA Registered Nurse License, Oncology Nursing Cert Corp certification, and/or Certification in Clinical Research Professions.
