Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Poway Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assisting with surgical procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe hospital environment.
Responsibilities- Room patients, prepare them for surgery, and assist with surgical procedures
- Draw blood, run bloodwork, and perform radiology
- Provide dental care, including dental X-rays and cleaning
- Assist with hospital maintenance, client communications, and training and mentoring other staff
- Perform front office duties, including prescriptions and client education
- Registered Veterinary Technician (license must be current)
- 3+ years of veterinary experience in a hospital
- Dental and dental X-ray experience
- Surgical experience
