About the Role

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a skilled Audiologist PRN to join our team. As an Audiologist PRN, you will play a critical role in evaluating, treating, and counseling patients with hearing and vestibular disorders to improve communication function and postural stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients with hearing and vestibular disorders using diagnostic hearing assessments and vestibular function tests.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address deficits and patient/family areas of concern.
  • Provide education and consultation to patients, families, healthcare teams, and community members.
  • Enhance and impact our knowledge of the nature of communicative and related disorders.
Technical Capabilities
  • Audiology Patient Evaluation: Obtain pertinent information to assess patients, administer hearing assessments, interpret results, and communicate findings to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Audiology Treatment Implementation: Develop treatment plans based on assessment results, select interventions, and modify plans as needed.
  • Audiology Patient Education: Communicate functional impact of assessment findings, treatment interventions, diagnosis, and disease process to patients and families.
  • Rehab Therapist Patient Documentation: Document patient information in a timely and accurate manner, using approved templates and abbreviations.
