Seeking a Skilled Speech Pathologist

We are seeking a skilled speech pathologist to provide adult inpatient services at our medical center. The ideal candidate will have expertise in evaluating and treating adults with speech, language, cognition, and/or swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide adult inpatient services in areas including speech, language, cognition, and/or swallowing
  • Evaluate and treat adults with speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

Requirements

  • California State Speech Pathology license
  • Masters degree in Communicative Disorders from an institution approved by the American Speech and Hearing Association
  • High level of clinical skill and expertise in speech and language pathology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Able to efficiently learn new computer and clinic systems
  • Excellent documentation abilities
  • Specific clinical training in a hospital/rehabilitation setting
