We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Dialysis Technician to join our team at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch patient care and support to our patients with end-stage renal disease.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in infection control and risk management activities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients.
- Guide new patients through a comprehensive 120-day education plan to ensure they understand their treatment options and can manage their care effectively.
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment, and report any changes or concerns to the charge nurse.
- Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment, and insert and remove patient access needles as needed.
- Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes, and inform the charge nurse of any concerns.
- Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight, and determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly.
- Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights, and maintain and track inventory.
- Perform laboratory work as needed to support patient care.
- Paid 12-week training program with a preceptor to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role.
