The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hospital Medicine is seeking part-time pediatric hospitalists to serve the children of the South Side of Chicago.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for highly qualified physicians to join our dynamic and exceptional team of pediatric hospitalists. As a pediatric hospitalist, you will assist with open shifts in pediatric medicine, newborn care, complex care, ED consultation, and coverage at Comer Children's Hospital and a specialty pediatric hospital for extended acute care for children with chronic conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with open shifts in pediatric medicine, newborn care, complex care, ED consultation, and coverage at Comer Children's Hospital and a specialty pediatric hospital for extended acute care for children with chronic conditions.
- Work as part of a dynamic and exceptional team of pediatric hospitalists.
Requirements
To be considered, applicants must have a medical doctorate or equivalent, hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and have completed an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program or be eligible or be certified in General Pediatrics.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is paid per clinic and does not include benefits. Based on similar positions in the area, we estimate the annual salary to be around $150,000 - $200,000, depending on experience.
