We are committed to providing high-quality patient care and are looking for a skilled RN to care for our patients in our newly acquired residential facility. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our patients, monitoring their condition, and developing treatment plans to address their medical needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete admission procedures, including paperwork and orientation
  • Search individuals' belongings upon admission and dispose of forbidden items
  • Administer and read tuberculosis skin tests
  • Document patient information and treatment plans
  • Provide direct care to patients, including monitoring for signs and symptoms of intoxication and withdrawal
  • Develop treatment plans with patients to address medical issues
  • Consult with in-house staff and outside professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide referrals for identified patient needs
  • Maintain professional boundaries and interact with patients appropriately
Requirements:
  • Unrestricted RN license in the state of Maine
  • Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Pass State of Maine criminal background and driving record checks
  • Prefer 1 year of detox, emergency, or med-surge nursing experience
Preferred Skills:
  • Working knowledge of medical detoxification for substance abuse
  • Knowledge of signs and symptoms of substance intoxication and withdrawal
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse population
