Job Summary

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in a travel position. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly
  • Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and images
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and techniques to ensure optimal image quality and patient care
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • ARRT Advanced Certification required
  • ARMIRT preferred
  • BLS certification required
Work Environment

Baptist Health Floyd is a stroke center of excellence, and as an MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, including those with stroke, cancer, and wound care needs. You will also have the chance to work with our team to coordinate care and MR exams within the ED department.

Additional Information

This is a travel position, and you will be required to work a varied schedule, including rotating Saturdays and no call. You will also be expected to move patients from beds to MRI stretchers and prioritize excellence in patient experience and care.
