Tasting Room Associate/Host Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Tasting Room Associate/Host to join our team at Bently Heritage, L.L.C. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, educating guests about our spirits, and providing a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and engage with guests, providing a warm and inviting experience
  • Lead tastings and educate guests about our spirits, facilities, and history
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues
  • Handle sales transactions, including operating the cash register and processing purchases
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized tasting room environment
  • Participate in spirit-specific tasks, such as labeling, capping, and bottling
  • Assist with providing tours to guests, as needed

Requirements:

  • TIPS certification or similar preferred
  • WEST certification or similar preferred
  • CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
  • Alcohol Awareness Card (AAT)
  • Valid driver's license with ability to meet company insurance requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
