Quality Assurance Specialist

619 Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join their quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections and audits of products, processes, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop corrective actions to address any issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality into the product lifecycle, from design to production.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, and develop recommendations for corrective actions.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and develop preventive measures to avoid recurrence of issues.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, control plans, and process flow diagrams.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Total Quality Management (TQM).
- Train and mentor team members on quality assurance best practices and standards.
- Stay current with industry standards and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality improvement tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, CAPA).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Certification in quality engineering (e.g., CQE, CQA) is a plus.
