Position: School Speech-Language Pathologist Aide (SLPA)
Soliant is actively looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Aide (SLPA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in speech therapy and have a passion for working with students facing speech and language challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver direct support to students in both individual and group environments under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Assist in conducting screenings and contribute to the evaluation and assessment of students with speech and language difficulties.
- Support the development and execution of individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored for students with communication disorders.
- Help modify curriculum materials and teaching techniques to accommodate the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school personnel to enhance students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Participate in meetings and maintain communication with parents and staff regarding student achievements and challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid SLPA License.
- Experience in a school environment working with students who have speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
