Lead Echocardiographer

Job Summary:

As a Lead Echocardiographer in our Pediatric Cardiology Clinic, you will be responsible for performing pediatric and adult congenital echocardiograms in the acute care and clinic setting. You will also be responsible for writing detailed echo reports on all exams and ensuring timely completion of daily echo service work schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pediatric and adult congenital echocardiograms in the acute care and clinic setting
• Write detailed echo reports on all exams
• Ensure timely completion of daily echo service work schedules
• Operate and maintain echo lab equipment
• Ensure department compliance to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission for Accredited Echo Labs standards

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Allied Health or related field
• Three years of diagnostic cardiology or cardiac sonography experience
• American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Cardiac Sonographer
