Key Responsibilities:


As a Registered Nurse, you will undertake a variety of essential tasks during your shifts, which include delivering compassionate care and educating patients about their medical and psychological conditions.

Establishing trust and rapport with patients and their families is vital in this role.

Collaborating effectively with the facility leadership team, your primary responsibilities will encompass:

Completing necessary documentation promptly after patient admission. Maintaining accurate medical records.
Administering medications as prescribed and monitoring the detoxification process.
Transcribing physician orders and implementing all medical protocols as directed.
Collaborating with medical personnel, both internal and external.
Providing documentation that reflects services rendered for each patient in compliance with licensure standards.

Assessing the medical and psychiatric needs of patients to determine urgency and expedite treatment is essential.

Effectively communicating health concerns to appropriate personnel and following up as necessary.
Educating patients regarding medications, health issues, and medical conditions.

Demonstrating the ability to take verbal orders from medical providers, documenting them accurately in patient records, and executing them professionally.

Exhibiting the capability to provide routine nursing care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 7a-7p or 7p-7a | PRN (1-2 shifts/week) or FT (36 hrs/week). Applications are welcome for all shifts/hours.

Qualifications:
Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing.
Licensed to practice in the relevant state.
BLS Certification.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum two years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
Experience in behavioral health preferred.
